• 200 grams boneless chicken, thinly sliced (5-7 mm in thickness)
• 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp turmeric
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper powder
• 1 tbsp refined or olive oil
• 1/2 medium sized onion grated
• 1/2 tbsp each of tomato sauce, mayonnaise, yellow mustard and honey –
whisk well with 1/2 cup water
Marination
• Mix chicken with ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and black
pepper powder.
• Rest for 30 minutes.
Process
• In a frying pan, add the oil. When hot, add the grated onion and fry for
1-2 minutes.
• Lower the flame to between medium and low. Add the chicken pieces in
the pan.
• Shallow fry the chicken well on each side for 2-3 minutes (some
chicken takes 1-2 mins as well). This should be almost 70-80% cooked.
• Now pour in the sauce mix (last one on the ingredients list) and mix
well all the chicken pieces.
• Lower the flame and cook the chicken for next 10-15 minutes. The
sauce should have thickened by now and chicken well done.
